With sadness, we share the passing of Janet Johnson (Fort Covington, New York). Janet, born on June 26, 1932, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Smith and Ada Jane Henry Smith; her husband Robert Johnson; her daughter Janine Abbott; her son-in-law Jeffrey Abbott; her siblings, Alan, Charles Smith and Ann Berry; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Johnson, Donald Johnson and James Berry.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Abbott and Kimberly Abbott Apostel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. (568 E Main St, Malone, NY 12953). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Helen's Cemetery (755 County Route 41 Chasm Falls, NY 12953).
Donations may be made in her memory to the Farrar Home in Malone.
