Reid W. Marker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2025, Reid W. Marker of Fort Drum, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Reid's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Reid's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He is survived by: his parents, David Edward Marker and Brooke Nicole Blackwell; his close friends, Mason David Marker of Harrisonburg and Langdon Blackwell Marker of Stephens City; and his grandparents, Dickie, Rita Blackwell of Winchester, Barrie and Dolores Marker of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Omps Reception Center, Amherst Chapel Tuesday (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Omps Reception Center, Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601).
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Reid W. Marker Army Scholarship Fund at Sherando High School.
