He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Abrahamson and Mary Abrahamson (Ward); his wife Ellen; his brother Richard; and his siblings-in-law, William Selfridge, Pete Hartzog and Ruth Fish.

He is survived by : his children, Faith Higgins (Mike), Terry Abrahamson (Cheryl), John (Sue), Brian Abrahamson (Julie), Julie Bishop (Marty) and Amy Aubrey (Ken); his daughter-in-law Helen Deyette (Tom); and his grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Matthew, Michael, Ryan, Kailynn, Jenna, Kristopher, Heather, Autumn, Anna, Eric, Lindsey, Lesley, Alaura, Aimee and Alyssa. He is also survived by several great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Argyle Presbyterian Church (48 Main St, Argyle, NY 12809).
