He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lafferty; his children, David Willenbruch, Debra Smith (Scott), Edward Lafferty (Bonnie), Joanne Lafferty, Theresa Weinberg (Stephen) and Keith Lafferty (Karina); his grandchildren, Riley Smith, Ian, Maggie Lafferty, Ben and Courtney Weinberg; and his brother Henry Willenbruch.
