She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Briere and Estella Briere (Norton); her close friend Jerry Colson Sr.; her son Eugene Colson; and her brother Leo Briere.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Colson Jr. (Belinda) and Tina Piekett (Michael); and her grandchildren, William Colson (Rosemary), Madison Colson (Jacob), Danielle Saunders, Sean Saunders, Ashley Aiken (David), Stephanie Rubel (Michael), Kelly Horen (Sean), Mercedes Howe, Chayenne Colson and Eugene Colson Jr.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations in Marlene's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Assoc.
