She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Bigelow and Edith Bigelow (Forcier); her sister Joyce Rafferty (Roland); her children, Megan Ezzo and Derek Gayton; her grandchildren, Megan Ezzo and Derek Gayton; and her husbands, Alan Huestis and Charles Drake.

She is survived by : her children, Sarah Ezzo, Emily Ezzo, Paula Walden (Jerry), Charles Layland (Erica), Madeline Layland and Michael Huestis (Beth); her grandchildren, Mauranda Comley (Dale) and Justin Huestis (Aubrey); her great grandchildren, Mauranda, Bodhi and Zara; and her children, Connie Smith (late Brad), Joyce Beauchamp (late Scott) and Gary Drake (Laurie).

She became an activist for the American Cancer Society.
