He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bigelow and Elsie Bigelow (Waite); his wife Sandra Bigelow; his children, Robert Labshere II (Patty) and Shelly Labshere; his grandsons, Robert Labshere III and Brian Bigelow Jr.; and his son-in-law Harry J. Rivers Jr..
He is survived by : his children, Dan Labshere (Bonnie), Deborah Labshere, Brian Bigelow Sr. (Cindy), Sherry Rivers and Michael Bigelow (Terry); and his sisters, Sally Corlew (David), Linda Smith (Doug) and Kathy Bigelow. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
