He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Green and Marion Green (Vines); his wife Barbara Liedkie; his children, Karl O. Brownell and Kathy Sweet; his grandsons, Karl A. Brownell and Scott E. Bushey; his siblings, Donald Green, Baird Green, Warren Green, Howell Green and Virginia Green; and his children-in-law, Barb Brownell and Randy Sweet.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Brownell (Kathi), Karen Brownell (Ed Ball), Kevin Brownell and Kimberly Ghulam; and his grandchildren, Michael Brownell, Justin Brownell, BethAnn Miller (Thomas), Philip Sweet, Tiffany Sweet, Mariah Ball, Melissa Brownell, Naghena Ghulam (Roberto), Robert Ghulam (Ashley), Gogee Ghulam, Shane Bushey (Tricia) and Mike Bushey. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
