She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman J. Carter, Sr. and Roberta M. Carter (Oliver); her husband James E. Winchell, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Bell, Larry Carter, Marjorie Murphy, Darlene Winchell and Susan Brown.
She is survived by: her son Kevin N. C. Winchell; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Greenough; her grandchildren, Lilyanna Flores, Kevin Flores, Jr. and Kriya Winchell; her siblings, Darwin Carter (Duffy), Nora Shave, Norman (Julie Carter) and Michael (Anne Carter); her stepdaughter Patricia Thornquist; and her friend James Rathbun (Jamie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
