She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace G. Griffin and Elinor F. Griffin (O'Dell); her husband Tom Carr; her stepdaughter Pamela Carr; and her siblings, Bev, Wallace and Richard Griffin.

She is survived by: her children, Kim (Doug) and Jeff (Lenora); her stepson Todd (Katie); her siblings, Rayna (Gene), Jan (James), Jill (Kevin) and Douglas; her grandchildren, Kristen, Amanda, Heather, Lauren, Justin, Brett, Austin, Nick and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Hendrix and James.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Transverse Myelitis foundation or Alzheimer's Association in memory of Thomas Carr.

“My wife and I give our heartfelt condolences to your family during this time. I have so many fond memories of both Sherry and Tom from church here in Crown Point. They both were so great with our kids while they were young. Although we grieve her loss, we are certain it was her 'graduation day'.
