He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Allen and Doris Allen (Mullen); his siblings, Chuck Allen and Carol Robb; and his stepsister Jean McEachron.
He is survived by: his pet Buddy; his wife Vedia Allen; his children, Floyd Allen, Debbie Rabine (William) and Kenneth Allen; his granddaughters, Kristie Trinkle (Matthew), Angela Allen and April Allen; his great grandchildren, Camren, Kyle, Danielle, Ryan and Bentley; his brother Gerald "Butch" Allen (Roseanne); his siblings-in-law, Helene Allen, Jody Harrington (Dave) and Scott Ballentine; and his close friends, Kristie, Ray, Lois and Herb. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Argyle Fire Department (5072 NY-40, Argyle, NY 12809).
