He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Bellows Surento and Carmen J. Surento; and his siblings, Carmen J. "Shrimp" Surento Jr. and Stephana "Stella" Collins. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Surento; his daughters, Tammy Thackrah of Amsterdam and Karen Rivera (Matthew) of Hamlin, NY.; his sister Rosemarie Surento of Amsterdam; his grandchildren, Kaila Rivera, Brittany Francisco (Rick), Katie Wilson (John) and Shawna Garcia (Raul); and his great grandchildren, Leena, Ryan Rivera, Brie Lynn, Emma Francisco, Sadie and Sable Wilson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Montgomery County Office for Aging, 135 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY.
