It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Howard Chase of Fort Plain, New York, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Chase and Gladys Edwards (Boise); his stepfather Leslie Edwards; and his siblings, Don Chase (Chris), Ron Chase, Ed Chase and Mary Burr (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Diane "Dolly" Chase (Jones); his children, Frederick Chase Jr. (Amy Mason), Heather Cronkhite (Andy), Colleen Murphy (Rich Tougas) and Paul Maniacek (Michele); his grandchildren, Lexy Cronkhite, Alex Cronkhite, Freddie Chase III, Lilly Chase, Anna Smith (Murphy), Aaron Murphy, Nicholas Maniacek and Jonathan Maniacek; and his great grandchild Frank Parshall (Shiela).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1029 NY-163, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
