He is survived by: his wife Irene Mello; his children, Joseph Mello III and Gail Morgan; his children-in-law, Wendy Mello and Gregory Morgan; and his grandchildren, Natalie Mello, Erin Morgan, Renee Morgan and Justin Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
