It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Necdet S. Gurcan MD in Fort Salonga, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Erol (Laura), Deniz (Lisa), Gem (Katie), John, Suzie (Rob) and Filiz (Todd); his grandchildren, Kristine, Danielle, Reede (Alexa), Chase (Ally), Graham, Chloe, Kevin, Bryan, Joey, Robby, Nick and Alexis; and his great grandchildren, Maddyn, Lennon and Brooks.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nolan Funeral Home, Inc. (5 Laurel Ave, Northport, NY 11768). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Northport Rural Cemetery (23 Sandy Hollow Rd, Northport, NY 11768).
