She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Vandermeulen and Nellie Vandermeulen (Carpentier); and her siblings, Paul, Luc Vandermeulen and Paula Rouvroy.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Walter J. Hewko of Mary's Cemetery; her children, Giselle Hewko, Carl Hewko (Metza), Ann Drummond (Bob), Frankfort of Patricia Hewko, FL, Mark (Cheri), Greg (April), Claire (Ken), Monica Carlisle (Bill) and Nichoville; and her siblings, Jenny Vandermeulen and Peter Vandermeulen. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Chesterfield's Tavolo (131 N Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
