He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Newhall and Anna Amann Newhall; his daughters, Ellen Dano and Deanna Donlon; his siblings, Brandon Newhall and Margaret Law; his grandchildren, Melissa Donlon and Gerald (Dano Jr.); and his great grandchildren, Brianna Donlon and Philip Donlon Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lena Newhall; his daughters, Patsy Newhall, Doris VanDyke and Joyce (Douglas Barton); his stepson LeRoy (Colleen Barton); his brother-in-law Jesse Lints; and his grandchildren, Henry Donlon, Angelo Lorezoni, Michael Lorezoni and Kelly Watson. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
