He was predeceased by: his father Alan Covey; and his significant other Cynthia Marie Joseph. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Ferguson Covey; his sister Kim Covey of Frankfort, NY; his sibling's children, Jason Covey and Nikki Covey; his great-niece Jenna Covey; and his aunts, Doris Foster (Beverly Gado), Sheryl (Jack O'Roark), Michele (Pat Hughes) and Carol Brown (Jan Joseph).
