He was predeceased by: his parents, Camillo Abbatecola (Carl) and Irene Abbatecola (Cimino). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Abbatecola (Balio); his children, Angela, Domenico Vecchio of Cassino, Italy, Carlene, Frederick Sanguine of Waxhaw and Carl Thomas Abbatecola of Clermont, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Joseph Sanguine, Irene Vecchio (Gioele Marrocco), Melina Sanguine and Ilaria Vecchio.
