With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred J. LaFemina (Franklin Square, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Fred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Fred farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Franklin Funeral Home, Inc. (42 New Hyde Park Rd, Franklin Square, NY 11010). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (12 Westminster Rd, West Hempstead, NY 11552). An entombment will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
