She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Margaret (O'Shea) and Michael Conlon; her aunt Bridie O'Shea; her husband John William Devaney; her children, Tracy, Kerri, Fiona and John; her grandchildren, Bridget, Molly, Rose, Anna, Lydia, Natalie and Mark; her daughters-in-law, Jodelle (John) and Shannon (Mike); her family, Nuala, Kevin, Ryan, Christopher and Andrew Costigan; her son Mike; her sisters, Vera and Peggy Whelan of Dublin; her sister-in-law Ann Ruebenacker of Middle Village, Queens.; and her brothers, John Joe and Michael Conlon (Hawlie). She was also cherished by 28 first cousins on her mother's side and 5 first cousins on her father's side, as well as countless aunts, uncles, distant relatives, nieces, nephews.
During Covid, she road tripped across the U. S. with her daughters to visit her son Mike and his family in Montana.
In lieu of flowers (Nuala wasn't a huge fan of cut flowers, though she's mellowed her stance as of late), the family asks for donations to be made in Nuala's name to charities that were dear to her heart: Outreach- The Pantry at St. Catherine of Sienna, SCS-Building-1-scaled.jpg, Parish Outreach, stcatherineofsienna.org.
