Vivian S. Groat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian S. Groat of Franklin, New York, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Skellie and Silva Skellie (Perry); her husband Norman W. Groat; and her great grandchildren, Dustin Groat and Chelsi Snell.
She is survived by: her sons, Norman Groat (Doris) of Walton and Lincoln Groat (Melinda) of Bainbridge; her roommate Marion; and her siblings, Rod, Norman, Alma, Fran and Maryann. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Franklin Fire & EMS, PO Box 8, Franklin, NY 13775 and the Franklin Rotary Club, PO Box 178, Franklin.
