With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Pries of Franklinville, New York, born in Chaffee, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her former husband Arthur Welsted; her husband Fred Pries; her stepsons, Charles Pries and Michael Pries, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Elderkin, Richard Bremiller, Shirley McMaster, Patricia Steckman, Paul Bremiller, Robert Bremiller, Johnny Bremiller, Dorothy Fox and Betty Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Haines (Pastor Skip) of Machias, Susan Arrington of Harlem, GA, Toby Pries of Hendersonville, NC and Andrew Pries (Barbie) of Franklinville; her stepchildren, Timmy Pries (Karen) of Tennessee, Mark Pries (Yvonne) of Kentucky, Terry Pries of Buffalo, Sam Pries (Jackie) of Buffalo and Tammy Childs of North Carolina; and her siblings, James Bremiller of West Virginia, Art Bremiller of Pennsylvania, Charles Bremiller of Buffalo, Elizabeth Baker of Dansville and Leroy Bremiller of Buffalo. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
