It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John R. Cornwall of Freedom, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John R. Cornwall to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Cornwall and Marilyn Cornwall; and his brother Thomas Cornwall. He is survived by: his wife Millie Lingenfelter; his children, Christopher (Katie) of Machias, Todd Cornwall (Krista) of Montgomery, Alabama, Chrissy Lingenfelter (Christopher Titus) of Machias, Carrie Mumbach (Marcus Pearson) of Miami and Rachel Snyder (Shawn) of Lemmon; his brothers, Stephen (Helen) of Machias, Mark (Bonnie) of Montgomery, James (Rose) of Conway and David (Kim) of East Berlin, Connecticut; and his sister-in-law Elaine Cornwall of Lewiston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Machias.
