“I just came across Mitch's memorial on a page at Hunter Nursing school, I was on the page applying to a nursing grad school. I met Mitch in 2004 when my 5 month old daughter was dying at Bellevue's PICU. It was a terrible time for me but he obviously made a wonderful impression if i remember him as a bright spot all these years later. Many's the conversation we had about how to complete a doctoral program and I admired his perseverance on that difficult journey until he graduated.
