He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Olson and Barbara L. Wiltsie Olson; and his sister Linda L. Frantz. He is survived by: his children, Stacie Goodnight (Matt) of Salisbury, NC and Eric Olson of Jamestown; his brother Kenneth Olson (Wendy) of Frewsburg; his grandson Blake Goodnight; and his sibling's children, Cassandra Olson, Lynnsey Olson, Heather Harrison and Carl Frantz.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Samuel Derby Post 556, the Frewsburg Fire Department, or a charity of ones choice.
