He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome F. Culkin and Elizabeth Culkin (Whelan); his siblings, Robert, Mary, John and Edward; his grandson Justin; his stepgranddaughter Maria; and his stepdaughter Cynthia.
He is survived by: his wife Maria F. Culkin; his children, Donald A. Culkin of Clay, Christine Demong (Dave) of Solvay, Timothy Culkin of Clay, Kevin Culkin (Kristen) of Chittenango and Sean Culkin (April) of North Syracuse; and his stepchildren, John Flynn (Rose) of Fulton, Kathy Yahner (Bill) of Central Square, Mike Flynn (Grace) of Oswego, Mary Brady of Fulton, Daniel "Boc" Flynn (Shannon) of Fulton and Brian Flynn (Chrissy) of Fulton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (21 Flood Dr, Fulton, NY 13069). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (309 Buffalo St, Fulton, NY 13069).
