James B. Shutts Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James B. Shutts Sr. of Fulton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Shutts and Mabel Shutts; his sons, James Joseph Shutts and Mark Cole; his brother John Shutts; and his granddaughter Taylor Whipple.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jennifer Shutts-LeBlanc (John), Barbie King, Merle Whipple and William Cole (Erin); and his sisters, Marlene Sutcliffe (Larry) and Pamela Gilbert (Chuck). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (21 Flood Dr, Fulton, NY 13069). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
