He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Hammond; his parents, Harvey Hammond and Mary Hammond; his son Peter Hammond; his siblings, Harvey, Vincent, Paul, Gerald, William, Lillian, Rose and Beverly; and his granddaughter Abby Buenzow.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Taylor, Sue West and Randy Buenzow; and his grandchildren, Tracy, Elizabeth, Amanda, Harry, Linda and Theron. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
