As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edith may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Richards and Richard Richards; and her sister Margaret. She is survived by: her siblings, Jeff Richards of California, Meredith D'Andrea (Gil) of Islip, Bryan, Beth Richards of Virginia and Joanne Rosche (Jeff) of Center Moriches. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Homes (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Episcopal Church (257 Middle Rd, Sayville, NY 11782). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025.
