He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn L. Saltsman and Harriet Saltsman (Musgrave); his wife Maria Leotta; his siblings, Ila Bortell and Arnold; his sister-in-law Pat Saltsman; his daughter-in-law Sharon Saltsman; and his granddaughter Jennifer Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Carelli (Pete), Kurt Saltsman (Ginny) and Nancy Saltsman (Brad); his grandchildren, Shannon Mills, Brett Mills (Courtney), Courtney Frederick (Tyler) and Dr. Alexandra Gieseler (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Cerny, Myla and Layla Frederick; and his brothers, Gerald Saltsman (Beatrice) and Leslie Saltsman (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
