We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Ann Kilmartin of Fultonville, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Katherine; her stepfather Howard VanAvery; her sister Ginny VanAvery; and her pet Gracie. She is survived by: her close friend Dick Lyons; her son Adam Kilmartin, Jr. (Diahanna); her sister Sandy Lais; her close friends, Darlene Monk and Annette Jordan; her nephew Richie Knudsen (Pugsie); Valerie. She is also survived by many cousins and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home (15 Main St, Fultonville, NY 12072). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Ruth was a member of the Rural Grove Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years, and in lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions in her name be made to the Rural Grove Fire Department or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
