Raymond C. Urban Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond C. Urban of Galway, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Urban and Cecile Stackelroth Urban; his wife Phyllis V. Sydlansky Urban; his siblings, Richard, Warren Urban and Joan Kutschera; and his grandson Carmen John Inco, III.
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Francis (John); his children, Sharon Shyne (William) of Mechanicville, Karen Urban of Malta, Erin Bressette (Jeffrey) of Keeseville, Thomas Urban (Michelle) of Galway and Matthew Urban of Troy; and his grandchildren, William Shyne (Leslie), Brian Shyne (Stephanie), Alicia Sauer (Gregory), Colleen Macey (Allen), Justin Bressette (Lexi), Nicholas Inco (Nicole), Gabrielle Raskin (Arthur) and Nathaniel Urban. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Church or to the charity of one's choice, in memory of Raymond C. Urban.
