He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paterek and Gladys "Mary" Cannon Paterek. He is survived by: his children, Sean Paterek (Joanna) of Galway and Kristen Paterek of Galway; his brother Edward Paterek (Kathy); his grandchildren, Tayler Rohling and Brody Paterek; and his close friend Mike Neri (Betty).
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Cemetery (51 N Pawling St, Amsterdam, NY 12010).
