It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert R. Petteys (Gansevoort, New York), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Petteys and Gertrude Petteys (Cady); his brother Thomas; and his daughter-in-law Emily. He is survived by: his wife Arleen; his children, Carl Petteys (Kathy), Philip Petteys (Emily), Diana Paradis (Steven), Marianne Coulter (John) and Lara Priest (John); his brothers, Glenn Petteys and Alvin Petteys; and his caregiver Jill. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
The desire of the family in lieu of flowers is that donations be made to one of these.
