With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Gillingham of Gansevoort, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2026 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gary R. Gillingham; and his grandparents, Emile, Charlotte Porlier, John and Ruth Gillingham.
He is survived by: his mother Joan C. Gillingham (Porlier); his wife Sue Gillingham; his children, Justin Gillingham, Jenna Gillingham-McGuire (Will) and Selena Bonilla (Nick); his grandson Thomas McGuire; his sister Janelle Gillingham (Greg); his nephew Corny; his parents-in-law, Marga and Phillip Normandin; his sister-in-law Sylvia Normandin; his pets, Star and Stark; and his friends, Missy Lacy, Debbie and George Dingmon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Steve's family asks that memorial donations be made in his name to either the South High Marathon Dance, 42 Merritt Road, South Glens Falls, NY, US, 12803 or the CR Wood Cancer Center, 126 South Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
