He was predeceased by: his former wife Beulah. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth and Karen; his wife Elizabeth Ann; his stepson Karl Nystrom (Donna); and his grandsons, Michael Nystrom (Nida) and Kevin Nystrom.
At the age of 90, he started bowling every Friday with his son and a small group of seniors at Herrill Lanes in NHP, but COVID unfortunately removed that social activity from his life.
