He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmine Mele and Angelina Mele; his wife Emily; his in-laws, Frank and Mary Francese; his siblings, Joseph, Frank, Carmine, Anthony and Rosaria; and his children, Paul Michael and Mary Catherine.
He is survived by: his son Carmine Mele (Janet); his granddaughters, Jennie of Gardiner, Rebecca of Gardiner and Amanda of Gardiner; his daughter Rosanne (John); and his grandchildren, Katelyn, Nicolas, Jonathan and Jared of Gardiner.
