He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Donnell and Catherine O'Donnell; his wife Diane; his brother Hugh; and his children, John and Andrea O'Donnell.

He is survived by: his children, Joanne O'Donnell, Joseph O'Donnell (Nikoo), Terence McGuire (Sueann), Kellie McGuire (Jason Hernandez) and Erin Maye (William); his sisters, Catherine Wark and Theresa Watson (Kip); his sister-in-law Susan Gomez (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Myles O'Donnell, Nicole Simpson, Daniel, Michael McGuire, Kiera, Ryan and Katherine O'Shea. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews and his loving dog.
