He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Donnell and Catherine O'Donnell; his wife Diane; his brother Hugh; and his children, John and Andrea O'Donnell.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne O'Donnell, Joseph O'Donnell (Nikoo), Terence McGuire (Sueann), Kellie McGuire (Jason Hernandez) and Erin Maye (William); his sisters, Catherine Wark and Theresa Watson (Kip); his sister-in-law Susan Gomez (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Myles O'Donnell, Nicole Simpson, Daniel, Michael McGuire, Kiera, Ryan and Katherine O'Shea. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews and his loving dog.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tj McGowan Sons Funeral Home (71 Central Hwy, Garnerville, NY 10923). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Gregory Barbarigo (25 Cinder Rd, Garnerville, NY 10923).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ASPCA.
