With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maureen H. Abel of Garrison, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Myles Hagan and Catherine Hagan; and her brother Gary. She is survived by : her husband Robert Abel; her daughters, Kimberly Abel (Jimmy Lyles), Kathleen James (Frankie), Karin, Kristine, Patricia and Maureen Ferguson; her grandchildren, Kayla, Nicole, Thomas, Taylor, Haley, Keegan, Liam, Kylie, Shannon, Meghan and Luke; and her siblings, Eileen McConnell, Richard, Myles and Charles. She is also survived by many nieces nephews and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Westchester/Putnam or the American Heart Association.
