She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bellanca and Anna Bellanca; her brother Thomas Bellanca; and her grandson Grant Friskey. She is survived by: her husband Ed; her children, Colleen Figueroa (Rene), Jeffrey Wood (Sherry), Kimberly Wood (Tom McCabe) and Lisa Puma (Mark); her grandchildren, Carly, Chesah, Alyssa, Alexa, Jessica, Joshua, Brianna, Brandon, Anthony, Vincenza and Joseph; her brother George Bellanca (Joan); her sister-in-law Jackie Donohue; and her nephew Thomas Bellanca, Jr.. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (4 Avon Geneseo Rd, Geneseo, NY 14454).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kate's memory to the Rochester Regional Lipson Cancer Institute, 127 North St., Batavia, NY 14020.
