He is survived by : his wife Norma Sartain Benedict; his children, Jack Benedict (Judy) of Geneseo, Gary Benedict (Mary Ann) of Livonia, Dennis Benedict of Newark, Sandra Ulanowicz of Geneseo and Pamela Gardner (Harry) of Lakeville; and his grandchildren, Michael, Richard Benedict (Becky), Nicole, Thomas Benedict, Travis, Brianna (Tony), Alexis Benedict, Daniel (Korisa), Jason (Kelsey) and Eric Petre. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
