Roy W. Ellis Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Roy W. Ellis of Geneseo, New York. Roy, born on March 7, 1947, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Sharon Rossborough Ellis; his brother Richard Ellis; and his parents, Roy A. Ellis and Gertrude Stevens Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Heather Crissey Ellis; his children, Phil, Marc Cerankoski and Patty Vining; his grandchildren, Autum and Philip Cerankoski; his great grandchild Anthony Lord; his sisters, Carolyn Ellis and Linda Ellis (Kim Burger); and his sister-in-law Marcia Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home (111 Main St, Geneseo, NY 14454-1221). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Leicester Cemetery (2351 Leicester Rd, Leicester, NY 14481).
