He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bennett and Maggie Bennett (Thompson); his daughter Yolanda Bennett Elliott; and his daughter-in-law Delores Scott. He is survived by: his wife Betty Grace Bennett (Payne) of Geneva; his children, Addist Bennett, Jr. (Anita) of Geneva, Constance Abban of Virginia and Gail Mike of Florida; his siblings, Waldense Bennett of Spencerport, Charlie Bennett (Delores) of Henrietta, Leroy Bennett (Willie) of Rochester, Jaunita Bennett of Texas and Thelma Bennett of Florida; and his grandchildren, Addist Bennett III (Brandy Stephens), Charmaine Chaffin (Chris), Patrice Scott, Antonisha Bennett, Rochell Elliott, Devon Elliot, Dominique Abban, Bennett Sumpter, Michelle and Darron Mike. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
