She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond DeRuyter and Virginia DeRuyter (DeLand); her husband Ron Horton; her son Michael Horton; and her granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail Knaak.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Reifsteck (Sue), Rachel Fairman (Joe), Andrea Knaak (Mike), Scott Horton (Shelly) and Steve Horton (Karen); her grandchildren, Taylor Fairman, Brittany Yaxis (Paul), Francis Feely, Brad Feely (Stephanie), Richelle and Jacey Brooks; her great grandchildren, Nakeisha Parmer, Jordan Brooks, Landon, Elliana, Emersyn and Savanna Yaxis; her brother Raymond; and her sister-in-law Carol DeRuyter. She is also survived by several special friends and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue organization or charity of the donor's choice in honor of Adonna's lifelong love of animals.
