He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Johns and Mary Johns (Carpentier); his siblings, Pasquale "Pat" Johns, Marie Rose Ward, O'Neil DeJohn and Barbara DeMatties; and his son-in-law Bernie Pierce, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Connie DeJohn (DiDuro); his children, David DeJohn (Judy) of Geneva and Kathy DeJohn-Pierce of Canandaigua; his grandsons, Anthony DeJohn of Farmington and Matthew DeJohn of Port St; his great grandchildren, Leo DeJohn and Oliver DeJohn; and his siblings-in-law, Cecelia DeJohn, Ursula DiDuro and Ermen "JuJu" DeMatties. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
