He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Truax and Grace Truax (Statham); and his brother-in-law Daniel "Bud" Fitzwater. He is survived by: his spouse Gail (Fitzwater); his sons, Todd Truax (Amy) and Timothy Truax (Anita); his granddaughters, Chelsea Truax, Kirsten Ditzler (Todd) and Ashley Truax-Davis (Trey); his great grandchildren, Boone Truax and Henry Ditzler; his cousin Phyllis Marcus; his sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" Fitzwater; his niece Denice Williams (Boyd); his nephew Dennis Fitzwater (Brandi); and his great-nephew Caleb Fitzwater.
