He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Watling and Hazel Walsh Watling; his wife Doris Twist; and his siblings, Charlie, Loise, Harriet and Pauline.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Watling (Joann) of Stony Brook, NY, Linda Bohlk (Ted) of Yorktown Heights, NY and Janice Watling of Geneva; his sister Margaret Sorensen; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Danialzadeh (Payam), Christopher Bohlk (Laurie) and Andrew Watling (Caralyn). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the charity of one's choice.
