He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; and his parents, Harvey Mason Sr. and Mary Flanagan Mason. He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Garretson (Preston); his sister Carol Robinson (William); and his adoptive son Benjamin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the West Lake Road Fire Association in Geneva, NY, or the Wounded Warrior Project, to help inspire future generations with the same spirit of service and resilience Harvey embodied.
