He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie L. Parks and Betty Parks (Goosby); and his siblings, Betty Caroline Johnson and Willie Parks. He is survived by: his wife Denise Parks (Kesel); his children, Natasha Parks, Jasmine Parks, John Sawyer, Elizabeth Ayers (James), Jesse Parks Jr., Andre Parks and Ja'Mar Parks (Breanna); and his siblings, John Brown, Naomie Shaine Badmus, Julia Elrahman (Shamain), Sherry Massey, Lisa Jabril and Michael Parks. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
